Biography

James Rosson is a Virginia attorney dedicated to serving individuals and families throughout the Commonwealth. Before founding Commonwealth Legal Group, PLC, James served as an public defender, representing clients in a wide range of criminal matters and advocating for their constitutional rights in Virginia courts.

James uses that invaluable experience to inform his present work. Past work shows a commitment to extensive trial preparation, motion practice, negotiations, and appellate advocacy. Clients also need someone who understands their circumstances, who can handle their matter with empathy.

James brings that same dedication and strategic approach to every client, offering practical legal solutions across a broad range of practice areas, including criminal defense, criminal appeals, family law, civil litigation, personal injury, estate planning, wills and trusts, and traffic matters.
